Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."
 
We may never fully understand why God allows such things to happen to us or others, but we know that He will one day make all things new and beautiful, whether it be in this life or in Heaven. This verse says that God has placed a longing in our hearts that only He can satisfy. Until the eyes of sinners are opened, they will never fully grasp how to fulfil this longing. Praise God, if you are a believer, that you have tasted and seen how good God is.
